My name is Aoife Marie Murphy,

I am a PhD student at UCD.

 

I recently completed my MMus

where I wrote about the experiences of

female-identifying composers in Ireland.

 

Speaking with music teachers it became apparent that there is a need for resources on female composers for teaching in the classroom.
